Pinch me . . . this is what I do; it's not a traditional job, it's not even work in the way you think of work . . . I get paid and I get asked to paint some of the best horses in the world.

This is AG Bullet . . . she's won a couple Grade 1 races, so she's a fast horse, but on top of that she's BEAUTIFUL!

This painting of her winning at Saratoga is 4 ft x 5 ft.

I painted this for her breeder in Arizona. This is the second painting for their family. They've been racing horses for over 40 years, but they had their first Grade 1 winner a couple years ago with Desert Dawn. It was an honor to be asked to record that very special moment in time for them. I'm so glad that it only took a couple years to breed another G1 winner. Beautiful horses, beautiful people . . .

PS - Hollie, the breeder, told me they were watching AG Bullet race with a group of friends. One of which was a college chemistry professor who looked at the name and said, "On the periodic table, AG is the symbol for silver . . . Silver Bullet." it was an AH-Ha moment. Later, I met the Than family who race AG Bullet and I sounded smart when I asked if "AG was for silver". They smiled and were so pleased that somebody knew their secret to the horse's name . . . AND you too can look smart, if you hang out with college chemistry professors at the races or just listen to my wondering stories that are plucked from people who are smarter than the average bear.

Geez, isn't she lovely? . . . wow, just wow!

Sidenote: two tone tails that are dark at the top and cascade down into a lighter tone are called "fountain tails" . . . I just couldn't resist moving her to the spot on the track where I could have a little fun with the fountain in the infield pond with her magnificent fountain tail flowing underneath it.
